[She even got to say it! But yes, Anna has her full attention.]

[ Oh, geez, hearing Lucina call her that makes her heart skip a beat...she was resolved to just come out and say it before. But now she's just kind of looking in her eyes, wondering where exactly to start. She's a bit nervous...but also, she figures, she has nothing to really be afraid of. So she pushes through the butterflies in her tummy and just...says it. No fanfare. No buildup. Just...letting the words speak for themselves for now. ]

...I love you, Lucina.

[Not what she expected at all! Which means that she was going all red.]

[Oh no...]

Are...are you sure?

That's right.

[ Her grip on Lucina's hand gets just a bit tighter as she nods. Her face is red too, but...she's still smiling, keeping eye contact with her. ]

I'm positive of it. There's no other way I could possibly explain the way I feel when I see you. ...It's gotta be love. I mean, love is putting someone else's needs before yours, right? And when I'm with you...I know I want to do everything I can to make you happy, and safe, and protected, and cared for, you know?

But it's a different feeling from wanting to make sure my friends are safe or something. It's more like...I dunno, to me, being with you feels like home, you know? Like my whole body is just tingling and full of sunshine whenever I see you...And it's something that I really, really don't want to let go of, no matter what happens. It's something I've never really felt before, either, even though I've been in a relationship before, so, like, I know it's real, or at least, more real than it was with the others.

So...yeah. I'm...I'm sure. I love you, Lucina. I know I do.

That's...I'm glad to hear that.

[Deep breath!!]

I've yet to be in a relationship before but this has felt natural enough that it seems....right. As such, I think I can accept your feelings with a clean conscience and return them.

I wouldn't have been upset if you had said that you didn't! I mean, I didn't know when the right time would be, but I just...wanted to get it out in the open, that I did.

B-But I'm glad that you do! Really glad, actually! I, um...you just make me really happy, Lucina.

[She lets out a breath that she didn't realize she was holding in. Hearing those words from Lucina makes her heart start to beat that much quicker..]

And I want you to be happy, too.

It sounds to me that we shall have to fight over who can make the other happiest. Because that is also my goal.

[Fight??]

Oh, so it's a war between us, then? Then I'll make the first attack!

[Cake be damned, Lucina's getting tackled on the bed and kissed!!! That poor plate never stood a chance..]

A-Anna!

[After a moment of reservations, Lucina gives in. Mostly to wrap her arms around her partner and return that kiss just as wholeheartedly as it was being given. Even if they were both probably still amateurs at this.]

[There's definitely still a fair bit of "wait, should my hands go here?" or "am I supposed to be doing this with my mouth?" and what have you; she's not as new to this as Lucina is, but she's still definitely just going with what she thinks feels right instead of a practiced and experienced movement. But all the same, her passion shines through, even if it is a bit weird to ease into it. That's just natural, though, she imagines; she just melts into it and tries not to be too erratic with her movements.]

I love you...

[She says it again, just because.]

[After that lovely moment, Lucina shifts a bit so they're laying side by side, looking at each other.]

Mm...I love you too.

[Just to reaffirm it again. Not that it was needed.]

[She nods and holds Lucina close to her, kissing her forehead instead...

Spending time with her really does put her a lot more at ease. The warm feeling she has in her gut won't go away, but she's hardly complaining about that; it's like she said before. It's gotta be love.]

Do you think we can just lay here a while?

As long as you let me hold you tightly.

[Which she's so sure the answer will be 'yes' that she clings a bit tighter to Anna, holding her chest like she would a stuffed toy. Except in a way that was comfortable for the Princess.]

[She holds Lucina just as tightly, snuggling up to her for as long as she wants to be held..]

Nights like this kinda make me wish we were back in the castle, you know? If we were in my room, we'd have a ton of room to cuddle..

[As she held onto Anna, she certainly had questions.]

Tell me more about your home and castle.

[loveisanopendoor]

Arendelle's nice. A little bit on the small side, because it's more of a port...but it's a really pretty kingdom, even so, especially during the summer. It snows a lot, too, though, during the winter, because we're right next to the mountains...

As for the castle, well, it's home. It's not anywhere near as lonely as it was before, I think. But I was stuck there for so long that I guess after a while I started to get a little bored of it. But, really, that happens with anything when you feel like you're stuck, right? It's gotten a lot nicer, though, ever since we opened it back up again.

The whole kingdom used to be closed off because of my parents, but now that my sister's the queen, I made her promise that we'll keep the gates open...

That ended well for you, didn't it? It's...it is nice to hear. That sounds like quite a struggle, nonetheless. I take thanks in the fact that my parents were amazing people, far more amazing than I.

I know how highly you think of your father. And from what Cynthia's told me of your mom, she sounds like a really awesome person, too.

[Though she has...interesting taste in literature.]

My parents...I didn't really know them as much as I would have liked. They had Elsa's best intentions in mind, and I know that, but...I don't know if I necessarily agree with everything they did.

But it seems like you managed to set everything right in the end. This may sound a little stupid but I feel a bit proud of you, hearing that.

It's not stupid at all! I did what I could, really. It was a bit of an adventure, but...well, I wanted to set things right with her, really. And it wasn't really easy after thirteen years of not really seeing my sister, but...

Well, we're closer than ever now, after everything that happened.

Are you saying that you love your sister as much as I love mine?

Well, I don't like to show off my battle scars too much, but...

[She shows Lucina the palm of her right hand. Sure enough, there's a nice, big scar running horizontally across the inside of her hand, as if she had been cut by a bladed weapon...]

I'd say this is pretty much proof of that.
