Thank you for your concern. As of now, I'm in a good position so I can reply.

Things were difficult for a while. I was kidnapped but a friend managed to rescue me before anything untowards happened. For that, I'm thankful. It seems that those who were not found ended up dead. To think that could have been me is a terrible thought but if it could have saved one of their lives, I would have willingly swapped places. I do sincerely doubt that the powers to be here would allow that so I continue to rely on luck, skill, and my faith in my friends. Including yourself.

[Okay. For real this time. It's December 24th. The strawberry shortcake is done, and it doesn't look terrible, shockingly enough. She doesn't have to worry about gifts; that part's been settled, both with Kaori and with Lucina, so they have the whole rest of the day to themselves...

Christmas part 2, here we come. Anna knocks on Lucina's door, 314, cake in hand...

Absently, while she waits for her girlfriend to answer, she can't help but wonder when knocking on doors became such an easy thing for her, after so many years of it being so damn difficult. But she realizes it's probably because Lucina's assured her that it's always open for her...]

[That's a new one! And one she kind of likes, really. Thankfully, she's good with bladed objects so her embarrassment doesn't hinder her when it comes to slicing the cake into 8 nice slices.]

[ Okay. So things might be a bit weirder than usual now. Tons of people just kinda dropped off. Not much of an explanation behind it or anything. Not to mention, that two month gap still has no explanation whatsoever, but, running down the hallways with Lucina's hand in her's, she's willing to put all that to the wayside, just for a little while. She doesn't know if there's a reason they're both still here or if it's dumb luck or what, but, whatever the case may be, she's mostly just thankful that she gets to spend more time with the girl she loves. That's more than enough for her.

She's been in her room countless times before, but, every time, she still gets these butterflies... ]

I kinda missed coming here...

[And Lucina didn't hesitate to pull in Anna, bringing both of them to her bed. It was the most spacy place to sit and Lucina wasn't letting go for the time being. It's felt like a short while but it's really been a long time and Lucina isn't taking it for granted.]

And I missed having you. Which...that should be obvious but I would like to say it anyway.

Well, you know you can say whatever you want to me. I'm not gonna judge you or anything...

[ She doesn't mind being pulled over to the bed, quick to sit down next to her and rest her head on her shoulder... ]

But I'm really glad that you're still here. If you weren't...well, I'd definitely be nowhere near as calm as I am now, that's for sure. But with you here, it's like I can take on anything, you know?

...N-now I'm the one being cheesy, but, well...you get what I mean...

When you say cheesy, all I hear is sincerity.

But to hear that we can compliment each other in such a way....it makes things just feel right.
